The EMC serves the needs of secondary and FE teachers and students of English and Media Studies in the UK through in-service training courses and state-of-the-art video production facilities for professional work and classroom observation. Established by the Inner London Education Authority in 1975, now an independent educational charity with a national and international reputation. Has produced over 60 publications for both the staffroom and the classroom. PressWise has contributed to EMC publications and courses.
